HISTORY
Bayu Surya UMS was founded with the aim of accommodating the aspirations of UMS mechanical engineering students to implement their interest in energy efficient car research. Based on this background, Bayu Surya UMS moves with the existing vision and mission.
One of the main concerns of our generation is the gradual increase of the earth’s temperature, in other words, the phenomenon called Global Warming. The biggest catalyst to this phenomenon is the emission of greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide and methane, are mainly generated due to the combustion of fossil fuels. In order to achieve the global carbon neutrality goal and Sustainable Development and also improvement in vehicle fuel efficiency as soon as possible.
VISION
- We, Team Bayu Surya, are envisaging any foresights of future to which high mileage cars not only redefine fuel efficiency but also showcase the groundbreaking impact of cutting-edge aerodynamics on automotive design. Our goal extends beyond competition; we aiming to set new benchmarks that will shape the future of transportation.
